Your Experience

During our 1 Day Menopause Retreat, you will meet experts qualified in all aspects of the menopause and have the opportunity to share your experiences with other like-minded women, so that you leave feeling empowered and positive about this significant life transition!

Come alone, or bring your sister or friend also going through menopause or perimenopause.

What to Expect

  • An introduction from your host and an opportunity to meet your fellow retreat participants.
  • A Yoga class suitable for all levels with our yoga expert, who will explain how yoga can benefit you during the menopause and beyond
  • A session with our qualified menopause nutritionist who will discuss the benefits of particular food choices, followed by a menopause-healthy lunch.
  • A discussion with our menopause nurse about the physiology of menopause and medical symptom management, with plenty of time for Q&As.
  • An introduction to the psychology of menopause, and  how you can manage your symptoms using psychological techniques.

In addition to lunch, refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

About the Venue

Stock Brook Country Club is set on the outer fringes of the picturesque village of Stock. This Lutyen designed and inspired manor house enjoys space and breath-taking views from every vista over the 27-hole championship golf course and Essex countryside.

It is located in one of the most convenient locations in Britain, just 30 miles from central London and 15 minutes from the M25.

Retreat Licensee – Lainey Hall, Essex

Lainey Hall, EssexLainey is the proud ‘Mother of Cats’ and lives Essex with supportive husband Dom. Hobbies include yoga, walking, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Currently mid-fifties, and four years into menopause, Lainey has had a long professional career within the NHS and local authorities, supporting families and young people with challenging emotional and mental health difficulties. She is excited to be part of the Fountain Family and to help make a difference to all menopausal women. She hopes to use all her skills to enrich the Fountain experience.
